Not just safety (double-insulated is a thing even without grounded outlets): a switch-mode PSU is basically a very high power RF noise generator, and not something you want operating unshielded inside your case.

I think Pis are more appropriate. HDMI is the go-to for large numbers of pixels over a fistful of GPIO pins.

    Well, poop.

Some PSU brands (unsurprisingly just ones you should never allow near a PC) actually used to sell ones with windows in the case like for example this:

    As for peak RGB...
Doesn't that dubious honour belong to the RGB covered Yas Hotel in Abu Dhabi which also has an F1 track running through it?

Well, I took my car through the car wash, and it was upgraded with RGB LEDs on everything. Felt like I was driving through a rave.

Newegg have got on board to push it a bit further... Their RGB CPU! Do watch the video further down the page
They'll all be sold out by midday though :winking:

The best bit for me was the fact that it ships with ALL 3 colours, R,G,B and other colours available at additional cost via micro transaction

I expect a lot more of this sort of thing given the date.

Man, who cares about self-illumination when they're selling a hundred-thread 1.4 petahertz processor for only five grand? That is SO MANY MIPS.

RGB has definitely gone to far. You need to watch this even if you don't like the guy.

Why water cool something as mundane as an RGB SSD?

I demand a full custom wc loop to cool an RGB Chair.:hehe:
