    I think it's probably more of not being able to make any more rather than stopping through choice already. Think the drives were provided by Toshiba who have ceased production.

    The Best Buy chain here in the U.S. is indeed selling the HD DVD addon for $50 now. As tempting as it is to get one I don't really feel interested in purcashing HD content for a now dead format, even it is dirt cheap. Kinda works against me when I already have the PS3.

    I have an X360, and a HD-DVD drive for my PC, my Toshiba laptop has an HD-DVD player too.

    You'll still be able to buy HD-DVD's. In fact many places are selling cut-price players and films now :thumb:
