i am looking to build an HTPC with the capabilities to play blu-ray movies and play the role of a nasBox.
    hence the HD HTnasBox title.

trying to stay south of $600us. including tax and shipping.
and use as little power as possible, because of the 24/7 nasBox usage.

    did some searching.
what do you think about these components?

    1) Motherboard/CPU
    Zotac IONITX-A-U <--- clicky.
liked this board for it's 90w power supply.

    2) Memory
    OCZ SLI-Ready Edition 4GB PC2-6400 <--- clicky.
i have this memory already from an old build. hence the choice.

    3) Storage
Western Digital Caviar Green WD10EADS 1TB <--- clicky.

    4) Blu-ray Drive
    Lite-On 8x Blu-ray 16x DVD Drive <--- clicky.

    5) Case
    nMEDIAPC HTPC 5000B <--- clicky.
a large case. but didn't see another nice looking case with what i wanted.
one 5.25 external bay. at least two 3.5 internal bays. and fit to appear in a media center.

would this set-up be effective as a HTPC playing blu-ray?
how about as being a nasBox?

any and all advice is appreciated.
i have never ventured into the HTPC nor the NAS world before.

    thanks. in advance.
