Hi folks, is anyone using the following HD and MoBo Combo please that has bought the drives recently? "Maxtor 6H500F0 500GB SATA300 7200rpm 16mb Cache Hard Drive" & "ASUS P5N32-SLi SE Deluxe" or any MoBo with the NForce4 RAID Chipset?

I read conflicting reports on the compatability of the two and wanted to be sure they are going to work before coughing up almost £300 on two new HD's

    TIA...D-an-W

NF4 chipset should be able to cope with nearly any HD size. They'll be fine tbh. :thumb:

I'd suggest you try it to be honest. Sounds like a mixed bag, and there's always a patch for it if you get data corruption etc. :)
