(Woo first thread) Hi Guys, Anyone know of somewhere to find benchmarks for desktop hard drives? I'm tempted by a 1tb Seagate at a very low price but despite listing a 8.5ms response time I'm put off by the 5900rpm spindle speed.. I'd love to know how much of an effect it has. I've been looking for a way compare drives as BT hasn't reviewed many recently and Tom's Hardware hasn't made a new hdd chart since way back in 2009. Any advice appreciated!
