    Hello,

    I wanted to share with you my version of a HDD window mod. The HDD used is a WD 7200 rpm 20G drive.

    Looks nice and clean m8. What did youuse to seal the acrylic to the metal?

    wow, looks like you got your HDD mod to work!... Mine looks nice and ...erm... it looks nice!

    That is sweet! is there a big risk in damaging the hd when you do that? I'd love to be able to do that within a viewable area from an outside window.

    Thanks for the kind comments,

    The window is made of glass and rests on a 3.2 mm acrylic frame. The frame is attached to the drive with silicone cement.
