    Hey,

I purchased this pair of wireless headphones for $10 from a local store, thinking it would be nice to have some wireless headphones. Turns out they sound horrific, and they have poor reception, which I expected for $10. However, they were quite comfortable and decently built and light. Time to mod.

First thing, remove the wireless circuitry and replace with some quality drivers. Done. But now I have holes where volume, power and scan buttons were. That doesn't look very nice...

    :dremel:

I unfortunately forgot to take any pictures of the bondo, sanding, and painting process, partially because I was coated in toluene-scented bondo dust.

    The final result:

Theres a few imperfections but the light in the images makes them very noticeable. In RL they're invisible unless looked upon in a particular light. And I totally managed to melt the cord while soldering. Well done. :blah:

A before shot, right out of the box and still wireless:

    Just thought I'd share.

Thanks. I don't really know what they are per se, because I got them out of this wierd old pair of headphones that were like 20 years old that sounded good but were uncomfortable. They're about 35mm or so diameter with large magnets on the back. They sound great, thats all I know. Probably the kind of thing you'd find in a pair of sennheisers.
