Closed or open cans? Does it have to have a microphone? Btw, Bose is one of the worst choices possible for sound quality. You'll be amazed at how much better what I am about to recommend you will sound.

My advice would be to ignore the reviews and get yourself to a local independent specialist. Audition a couple of sets in budget and buy the ones that sound the best. If you let me know where you're based I might be able to recommend a good stockist.

That link goes to a pair of In-ear earphones, is that what you're looking for?

I'd be surprised if anyone lets you try these out in store. Trying out Headphones shouldn't be a problem though.

For in ears, I've bizarrely found my local Apple store to be the most accommodating place, more than happy for me to try on several sets of in-ears without any problem, and weren't the least bit annoyed when I didn't buy any of them (they all hurt my ears).

But seriously, you need to try these for yourself, it's way too subjective to say one make or another is better. Sennheiser, AKG, Beyerdynamic, Grado and Audio Technica all make great kit and are worth a listen.
