    heya

i'm just wondering, as i saw news today about two new cases coming with a heat pipe system thus being totally fanless, whether realizing such a thing could be feasible by a common guy like you and me, or if it would imply techniques that only companies full of engineers and $$$ are able to master.

ps: please don't blame me for my english i'm just a weak frog and also new to this forum :x

    Bonsoir ;)

I would imagine getting a heatpipe system to work in a case would be very difficult. Basically you'd need specialist chemicals in a sealed system. In terms of feasability I'd say it's slightly more so than freon cooling, but less than water.

Any chance of a link to that news?

Looks interesting - they are using the P4 which runs cool anyway, and using liquid cooling.

Some peeps have more money that sence - like building a peltier system:rofl:
