LOL That looks like my VIA Mini-ITX, I have heatsinks on every possible heat generating component. Truely fanless :D

These heatsinks were very helpful to spread out the heat made by those chips. Very good ideas!

Sure! the third picture is another board. I thik the author is trying to express the idea of pasting heatsink on those chips.

hrm. is that what the second pic is? I was thinking it was a TV tuner card...

wow. you aluminum wasting stinkface. :)

why do you need heatspreaders for the cooler chips? I mean, thats some mad cooling on your chips... that you don't need. like swatting a fly with a sledgehammer. and winding up 5 feet, with a running start, to boot. :eyebrow:

I think it's the same board, but with a different lighting... If you check out the rest of the board, same layout, same colors, except for the board itself... Or is it just me?

Nah, deffo a different board. Top one has 3 Ram slots with some orange IDE ports going the same direction. Third pic has 4 Ram slots and green IDE ports going the other direction.

Riiiiight... now I see that one of the boards seems to have green, another board has orange... but... look closely to the top picture, there seem to be a few green IDE slots right behind the orange ones. Is this guy using 3 different boards than?:eyebrow:

Considered this, but I don't think it looks too great. Had seriously considered this for my Epia 800 and may still do it.

Copper sinks would have been better looking or some nice coloured aluminium.
