Modding heatshrink

    Not sure whether this question should go here or in Electronics, but here goes: What diameter heatshrink should I get for most common mods?

    Use the 3/16 to 3/32 if your placing it over something the same size or smaller than the diameter of CAT 5 cable. If there is something thicker than CAT 5 cable, use the 3/8 to 3/16.

    I am using CAT 5 cable as a refrence because most people use it and that is what my experience with heat shrink is from.

    i just guessed and bought the smallest stuff from maplin. It shrinks to 1/2 its diametre so if you get it a bit big it shouldn't be a problem.
