it does stick out, true, but what about function over form? is it always necessary to have everything perfect? maybe, but i think given the circumstances does it really need the attention?

I agree with everything you said and I hate it as well. It got mounted that way because I broke the piece of accryllic that goes on the top and I dont have the time to remake it. i will remount it this christmas when I come back home but I needed a temporary solution. It also gives me a little bit more clearance to play with which will be nice for istalling everything at college with no tools.

 

I want to lower it, make a new plexi ring, have mesh, keep the fans on the bottom, and add about 6-12 LED's on the tops for lighting but like i said I ran out of time

Cool I would wonder why you wouldn't lower it but I guess unless people post like no other this will die until you get it back druing december and make a new rad mount. O well looks great can't wait to see it with hardware and the revised mounting solution.

 

When I lower it you can see the rough cut in the metal and it looks alot worse. Also it takes about an hour to mount it and I dont feel like doing it.

 

Ya I meant to say I wondered why you didn't lower it...because you need a new mounting plate You are gonna lower it eventually right?

2 questions/comments/suggestions

1. swapping out the blue leds with red ones would fit in better with the rest of the leds imo

2. are you going to put any game artwork on your case?

keep on modding

 

It's great for college and keeps me running since I'm always messing around with my gameing machine

 

1) The blue LED's stand out if you look at it as just a case mod but if you look at it as a Hellgate:London mod then I actually could use a little more blue.

2) Yes there will be some cool etches but it wont happen until christmas
