I'm probably the biggest diablo 2 freak you'll ever meet and maybe some of you have already realized that by my Diablo Based computer mod. Ever since the release of WoW there have been rumors floating around about D3. The main question was, "Who will design it?" This is because the head Poncho behind D2 resigned shortly after the release of LoD. It just so happens that Diablo 3 will not be comeing out. But have no fear because almost immidiately the Lead Director of D2 resigned he began working on Hellgate:London which was recently released for publicity at E3 (Which amazes me that Bit-tech hasnt covered it yet) Hellgate has the same style of gameing that Diablo 2 was famous for. Item based economy, 3rd person view, immense mashing of mobs, well designed skill-trees, and amazeing replayability. Ohh and did I mention that it also has the graphics of HL2? I'm excited. I Love Diablo 2, play it every week, I am excited about this Fozzy, with that graphics engine It'll kick butt!
Yea I think they made their own. Should be great. I wouldnt put my money on needing an upgrade either if you already have a fairly current rig. Thes guys are more about long term gameing enjoyment then quick flashy eye-candy.
I still play D2. I can't wait, as my last obsession is petering out and I gotta upgrade to play Oblivion after all my cards smoked for one reason or another.
Although i never got into D2 properly it was a brilliant game of its time and ive been looking at Hellgate:London since its announcement, looks amazing so far, hope it continues so well
This is Diablo 3? From what I've seen it looks like a FPS,and sadly I hate FPS games but loved D1 and D2
its not an FPS, its some what like oblivion but yet not. Its looking great and I like FFS filsophy "The game comes out when its ready" Very curious about specs.
