My dad uses a combination of pellets around the garden (make sure you clean up all poops before you put the pellets down) and a supersoaker 2000xp water pistol.

Yes. My dad squirts cats anytime he spots them in the garden ^_^

Now I like cats, but don't like any random animals invading my property! (or making a minefield of my back garden...)

    info from random website:

So google for any of those products (or check at your local garden centre)

or check out a homemade solution here:

Exactly what we do too. Not only is it fun and ultimately satisfying but they dont come back either.

Dont shoot them with anything traceable otherwise you could suffer criminal charges.

Don't shoot them with anything harmful cos that's just cruel.

Our neighbour's cats were fairly persistent though - they'd be back every few days.

You can use a special type of pepper dust that you spread around the garden. Cats hate it. I'm sure you can get it from Homebase and such places.

Yea, harmful not traceable. I always get those two words mixed up

I would suggest a large pit trap.....That way after a few weeks, you'll have a pit full of pissed off cats.....

Now, as to how you're going to mount lasers to them, you're on your own....

my poor old kitty was shot by some prick with an air rifle years ago :( she had a couple of slugs embedded in her flesh, not nice tbh.

cat owners generally allow cats to 'roam around 24/7', that's just what cats do. you cant really lock them in the house, or put them on a lead or something

sounds to me like the previous occupants of your house had a female cat, who put it about a bit xD tom's are dirty little buggers, always sniffing around if they think theres some sex available...

what works well for my parents: having a dog. seriously :)

if thats not an option, super soaker, lemon juice, pepper pellets etc are all good. please just ignore the bb gun (and black widow, gj there mr moderator man :p) comments.

what about a taser....its not traceable
or even anti-personel mines......there won't be anything left to trace after one of those has gone off

And after a few of those go off, you'll be halfway to having your own swimming pool :thumb:
