Graphics Help Choosing a Graphics Card

    Hi Guys.

    Following on from my previous thread that went all to hell, I'm back with another query.

    I don't know what Graphics card to get. I had my heart set on a R9 290, with the preference being the XFX DD R9 290, as it should be the same price as the reference boards.
    However, I've read that the VRM temps are quite high for this card.

    Looking at the Tri-X and the Windforce, the prices are quite high!

    Are the reference coolers that bad? Any other suggestions?

    I've got a max budget of ~£350.

    I have the stock Sapphire 290x. Yes it runs hot and the fan is audable while gaming but personally I don't find it reaches intrusive levels. Also the drivers for these cards are shocking at the moment. The card is silent though when doing everything else which is good.
