Memory Help finding some ram

    I brought a tri channel pack of ram
    Corsair XMS3 6GB PC3-12800 DDR3 DIMM Triple Channel Memory Kit

    1 stick of the 3 has gave up and died and i cant for the life of me find another single stick that has the same speed and latency.

    Anyone got any ideas?

    have you tried using the crucial system scanner? i have found its pretty good and gives you a few different options to pick from.

    just follow there instructions on the site, it took me no more than 5mins

    funny you suggest that heh, was on it earlier and they dont do an exact match.

    Thats another question, whats more important the speed or the latency?

    aye i could but means having my pc offline for the time it takes as i would have to send the whole pack back.
