    Hi all,
my laptop runs what I believe is a batch script of some kind at 2310 every day.
It will wake up to do so if need be.

I don't believe it's badware of any kind, but I would like to find out what it is - any ideas how I can do that?

more detail: what I think must be a cmd window appears for a fraction of a second, I have run anti virus etc.

    TIA, j

Microsoft Knowledgebase Article showing how to view the log file of scheduled tasks that have run. Make sure to actually look through the log as the most recent entry is likely *not* at the beginning of the file.

If you don't find anything, try running your updated updated anti-spyware / anti-virus programs in Safe Mode.
