Films Help identifying a movie

I'm looking for the title of a movie.

It's about a guy who shows up at accidents holding a book of some sort. AFAIK the guy knows about the accidents before they happen.

I tried searching. I thought it was titled "death journal or something like that, but apparently I'm wrong.

I have never seen the movie, only a picture from it a long time ago.


So, Anyone know what movie it is?

I think the one I'm thinking of is older than that.

When I think about it, the image may not be from the actual move. It may have one of those "**** bricks" pictures.

It was a car crash at an intersection. A gut were standing by a sign or telegraph pole, holding a book. Not sure, But I think he was wearing a green, or maybe tweed, jacket and gray pants.

Yeah. Apparently it's "Death Note".

I just thought it was a "normal" movie, not anime.

You missed out Death Note - The Last Name. L - Change the World is part three to the tale... in the form of a random spin-off that has almost nothing to do with the original plot.

For those who don't plan on watching any of the films (or the last two at least):

L Change the World is basically the chain of activities that L performed after writing his name in the notebook at the end of The Last Name. You know the usual; meet a girl, stop a terrorist gang, save the world from a killer virus... nothing out of the norm (absolutely nothing to do with the actual main plot).

 

Aww, I guess the film from the first description but then you guys had to go and spoil the fun.
