Disaster help me before i kill my geforce

    ive just clocked my gforce 2 gts card clock-204 and core 420 it runs on 3d mark ok,but im sure i can smell overheating [might just be me] anyone know at bout wot settings kill a geforce2,...is it safe?????? :confused: im using nvidia drivers to clock it

    the easiest way to kill it is with AS2 :(
    if it works, its fine. you can put extra heatsinks on it if you like but if it was hot enuf to be burning it wouldn't run 3dmark.

    I have a geForce FX5600 and I think those drivers only let you overclock to safe speeds.

    Possibly just dust? It can really smell bad even at safe speeds.

    Burning dust does smell pretty bad. How hot is the heatsink?

    Well since this is another thread revival I'm guessing the cards bit the dust by now anyways.
