I cant remember the name of this game, it is available on stream I believe. You are on a track with neon colours and the track is generated before the race is started by your mp3. Its quite a famious game and made it big. whats the name, some thing surfer?
Audiosurf. I love this game. Ironmode Ninja Mono with some fast paced death metal makes for a very fun reflex based game. Awesome.
I didn't go into it like a sensible person does. I started on Mono Pro Ironmode. As soon as I bought the game I jumped to Ninja Mono and started cranking on the heavy tunes. Children of Bodom, Nile, Pantera, Decapitated, Testament, Machine Head. I hit the greys a lot, but kept playing hard, because I knew if I pushed, I'd get better. I got my Ninjitsu on a 9 minute long Machine Head song while using a dicky mouse that cut out every 10 minutes. A ball mouse, no less. I try not to bother with starting small in games and stuff these days. I surmount the insurmountable. Or something. >.> The game gets easier if you play on Normal graphics settings. Less visual trippiness to offset your eyes. I play with the settings on Outline, and a black background. It has the right visual distinctiveness to nail high scores. When the audiosurf radio updates, I normally top the Ninja Monos, if I bother with the tracks, and sometime get into the top ten for a while if the Pointers haven't got there first.
my mistake was clearly starting too low then lol think i got top of local scores for cemetery gates at one point was proud of that god knows if it's still there been months and months since i played it been far too busy of late
Fun game, also it has Last.fm integration which is great for us who really count our scrobbles, but I find it quite difficult (even on easy modes )
Am i the only one that plays pointman or anything other than Ninja? Saying that last time i checked i was number 2 in the world on More Gun with Ninja albeit on beginner mode.
I do that with FPS, as most of them are actually better games on the hardest difficulty once you get over the initial learning mountain.
I have global highscores on a couple of songs, mainly because they are bizarre and obscure songs that nobody puts on there. (Steven segal comes to mind, who, surprisingly, isn't actually terrible) Although recently i was dethroned on the circus music from the original monkey island, much to my dismay. And a couple of gone jackals songs. for about 3 days i had the global hiscore on Motorhead - Ace of spades, when the game first came out, lost that quite quickly though
