ok, I'm a massive Liverpool FC fan and wanted to have that as a theme for my first build, i wanted the case to be red and white (i have a rough idea in my head). however this is where problems started with my other half, she's a Chelsea fan and wants me to incorporate Chelsea into the theme as well. now, don't get me wrong, spiderman and superman pull it off all the time......but red and blue paint on a case......can it actually look good?
well thats what i thought, i mean red and white would look awesome, but not blue, never blue. gonna have to think of a new theme then
It would just turn out like some ******* child of too many ideas - If she want's a chelsea one why don't you offer to mod her PC too ?
Is it going to be watercooled? If so, pop a plastic chelsea badge in the reservoir. Next step would be to label the reservoir with something like "Drown chelsea, drown!"
A nice way to give the build an authentic Liverpool effect, would be to burn the case and leave it on bricks

look i havent opened this to cause any slangging matches, theres nothing wrong with either Liverpool or Chelsea or any football club (except Man Utd of course). all i wanted was advice on potential theme. never mind
Honestly think its best to use Liverpool theme on pc and just skin the laptop in Chelsea theme. Yes, i'm a Liverpool fan but my thinking is that you said your partner predominantly uses the laptop so it stands to reason that that should have the Chelsea theme. Good luck whatever you decide.
There are a couple of options. You can smile nicely at a vinyl wrap specialist who usually does cars and see if they would be interested in the project, or you could do something similar to this
how about fading the 2 colors, bottom blue fading in to red an the top, and some white details like leds/fans...
