If thats the case then why is my does my X1800 XT run things so much better than my 6800 GT ever did (yes I know it's a faster card) but with the 6800 GT I always had problems with some games. For those that don't like the catalyst radeon drivers then have a look at the omega drivers, work much better for me
Absoulte B-S. I dont like ATI drivers simply because you can go make a cup of tea before they load the control centre but it doesn't make them "worse" products. Considering how messed up EA games are anyway it's a miracle anyone can get them to work at all.
If you have nothing useful to say, don't bother. @OP getting 5400 ram might limit your overclock. You should still get to 400 FSB (with a drop in timings, increase in voltage or both) however you might be a bit limited from there. For a tenner more (ish) you can pick up a gig of Geil (rated @ 4,4,4,x at 400 FSB) or for around the same price some OCZ rated at 5,5,5,x at 400 FSB. Both would probably be a better option, with the Geil certainly being worth the extra cash for tighter latencies.

That setup looks quite good, you know when you've gone over budget it's gonna be good... I'd look into a 7950GT but that's really just personal preference to NVidia with no logic or supporting reason other than they look pretty, come with all these fancy things like "CineFX 4.0" or whatnot... even if they mean nothing
Skip the Akasa psu; http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-005-CS or http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-003-SS are both way better choices.
