Help! Need help with Dell recovery

    What is a "destructive recovery"? Do you mean you need to recover files from a dead hard drive, or do you mean you wan to destruct all data in there permanently?

    It's the one that formats the drive first, rather than a repair recovery. Try pressing F10 at boot. Or this miay work

    F12 on the D600's will get you to the boot menu, select the cd option from there and yer good to go. Never heard of the CTRL+F11 option, might be an option on the Inspiron/Vostro/Studio lines rather than the business laptops.
