    Hi everyone,

I am trying to set up VOIP by connecting my USB phone directly to my router. The thing is, I am having problems locating a RJ45 Male Ethnet ------> USB (Type A) Male connection cable.

I thought this being a tech forum someone might have an idea of where one could be found. If so, can you point me in the right direction??

    Many thanks,

    Gary :)

i really really doubt that that is going to work. the reason they don't make cables like that is because they are two totally different protocols, and you can't just plug one into the other.

    Quite.

Some routers do have purpose-done USB/RJ11 ports on the back for VOIP phones, but USB->RJ45 just won't work tbh.
