Apple Help needed with a virus'd Mac

    hi guys
    i asked a few days ago for a m8, he needed help as his apple mac laptop wouldnt accept his password, he has sorted the password thing, but it keeps freezing and he keeps getting all sorts of crap popping up on screen, he has a virus, he has done everything to sort it, now he wants to format and put the os back on it, he said its leopard 10.4.2 somit or other lol, any ideas guys

    could he put vista on it i have vista 64 bit, would that go on it, ie will there be drivers for vista

    Is it an Intel Mac? That's a good place to start.
