Networks help please wireless question

hi i want to connet my pc with no wirelless tech at the moment to my lapptop with no wireless at the moment. i want to conect them with wirelless as my pc is downstairs and my lapptop is up stairs. the broadband is connected to my pc by ethernet i do not have a clue what to buy and how to set it up ect please help thanks

 

Buy a wirelessrouter, and buy a wireless network card for your laptop, and then you will just connect your pc to the router through wired.

what about if i had to usb bluetooth adapters cause i got one in my pc and i seen them go cheap on ebay could i run my internet on my laptop through that broadband by the way.

 

I don't know about bluetooth, it would be simpler with a wireless router cause it's not relying on anycomputer and I heard bluetooth doesn't have very great range, and a router would be easier to setup.

 

ok but my bluetooth adapter does have a 100 meter range i dunno mite buy a cheapo see if it works if it does then ill keep it but if it dunt then ill get wifi thanks for help
