    Intel Core i7 2600K 3.4GHz
    Gigabyte P67A-UD3R-B3
    G.SKILL Ripjaws F3 8GB CL7 1600mhz
    Intel 320 Series 120GB
    Samsung F3 1TB
Coolermaster Hyper 212+ or 3R System IceAge Prima Boss II
    Asus HD6970 2GB EAH6970 DCII
    Coolermaster CM690 II Advanced
    Seasonic X-660 660W

Budget: Nothing that exceeds the sum total of the current build.

Main uses of intended build: Gaming, school work, able to handle multiple tabs, documents, and video streaming/downloads at the same time

Games I'll be running in the immediate future: Assassin's Creed II/brotherhood, Dragon Age II, Portal 2,

Parts required: Well, everything I have listed above

Previous build information (list details of parts): Still chugging along on crappy old laptop.

    Monitor resolution: 1920 x 1080 21.5 inch

Storage requirements: Fast boot drive and reliable storage drive.

will you be overclocking: No plans as yet but I do not want to rule it out.

Any motherboard requirements (no. of USB, Xfire/SLI, fan headers): No.

Extra information about desired system: I'll be getting my internet connection through a powerline ethernet adaptor. Any recommendations?

Alright so I haven't built my system yet. Do these specifications look okay? Are there any potential compatibility issues that I might face?

Also I actually bumped up my RAM from kingston value RAM to the Ripjaws, because well, faster RAM is just nicer to have. :D will I see any tangible benefits from this?

Is it also worth holding out to purchase a Z68 mobo?

    All input is welcome. Thanks!
