Me and my mate at work are having a dispute over something in the Rambo first blood movie. This has been buggin me for years, there's a line near the begining where the sherrif says to Rambo "what do you hunt with a knife" my mate reckons Rambo replies "emu" I reckon hes full of crap.

I was just wondering if anyone has the DVD would it be possible to find out off the subtitles? The line is approx 9 mins 25 into the movie.

Ive done an extensive search on google for the script and cant find it.

    Cheers for the help.:thumb:

I just took a quick look at it, without subtitles, and it does sound a bit like "emu". All you can really hear is "mmu" so we'll need to wait on the official verdict.

Woot, we spent ages looking for that. It is name it. The kid who I was arguing about it with reckons he sat up to watch it on TV one night with the subtitles on to see what he actualy said and emu came up on the subtitles.

Anyway cheers mate, mystery solved :thumb:

TV subtitles should never be considered definitive, they're often just typed by an employee of the TV company and if they mishear something then that's what gets included anyway.
