Windows help.. what do i have ? msdn case w/discs

    i have a black zipper case marked msdn... full of discs.. with labels..PLATFORMS, DEVELOPER TOOLS, LIBRARY. ETC..

    can anyone help me ,,, i am not sure what they are... what they are worth,,, i need to sell, these were given to someone who owed lots of money to that person... hopefully they are usefull to someone else... and i need the money...

    They are developer tools to help program for the Windows platform.
    Some can be expensive, but I'm not sure if you're allowed to sell them.

    ASFAIK, These aren't allowed to be resold. Their licenses are non transferrable.

    what do i have? licensed?

    so what good are they to anyone? how do i find out who they are registered ? .. they are useless to me.....

    I don't think you'll get much interest from them here, most people use the online MSDN databases now.

    MSDN is a subscriber service, you pay the annual subs and MS send members all their latest software to test with your own programs, hardware, whatever. With membership many people think it's a bargain, especially if you have several PCs in the house, as you get a legal copy of each OS. Without membership it's worth no more than a handful of pirate CDs. :duh:

    sounds more to me like someone (not necessarily you) stole these and is trying to guess their worth. Just my 2p.
