Hi, i wander if anyone could help me.
My shiny new speedtouch 510 v4 (for ADSL) arrived this morning, but it has brought with it a really wierd problem. That being it doesn't seem to like the longer ehternet cables i have in my house (~5 metres or so) The computers connected with these cables cannot detect the router. However for my old set up of ICS and a hub they all worked fine.

The only thing i can do to get it to work is to run a short cable from the router to my 10mbps hub and then run the longer cables from the hub. This works fine. But it's also ridiculous. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the cables as the hub is fine with them, its just the router!

I don't want to use this setup like it is, because i am unable to map the ports and i am restricted to a 10mbps lan.

Has anyone had this problem before or got any suggestions?

    Jon
