Apple Help with an annoying iTunes bug.

Hi, I use iTunes for my 5G video ipod, and so have many hours of video. However, it sorts the numbers strangely. This is what it looks like:

Family Guy 5 - 1
Family Guy 5 - 10
Family Guy 5 - 11
Family Guy 5 - 2

And so on. This looks messy, and is hard to manage. Is there any way of making itunes sort videos (And songs) more logically?

 

Try putting a 0 before the single-digit episodes. So change Family Guy 5 - 1 to Family Guy 5 - 01 and so on. That might help.

That's actually how it's supposed to sort them. The order shown would be like:
Family Guy 1-
Family Guy 10
Family Guy 11
Family Guy 2

It moves along the list in alphabetical, then numerical from left to right.

 

yeah but if you're wishing to watch them in proper order, i'd imagine it would be annoying as well..

having the 0 makes it good though

 

I have the same problem with my lecture recordings from uni, they're all named by date and itunes can't handle that.

(I never listened to them though, so whatever.)
