hey guys... well i currently have 2 computers :

    AMD Athalon 3200+ 64 Processer
    512 DDR Ram
    GeForce FX5200 128meg graphics card
3DMARK03 BENCHMARK : 809 - crap i know ! thats why i will probably upgrade this video card

    and a:

    Pentium 3 2.26 Ghz
    1024 DDR ram
    GeForce 3 ti200 128 meg graphics card
3DMARK03 BENCHMARK : 1331 - bit better but still bad...

Anyways im looking at buying a new graphics card from this website here http://www.pricespy.co.nz/cat_16.html#g143 but im not sure which one to get... im looking at a card in the $300 - $400 range ( keep in mind these are in NZD which are double USD so thats why they seem so expensive ) what do you guys think to be the best choice from that website? id really like some good feedback/ideas and information about the cards. :)
    Thanks

Well if I converted things right, I'd say both the x800pro and 6800gt are in your price range. Either one is a great performer although personally I'd get the x800pro as it uses a ton less power, runs cooler, etc (and I'm diehard ati fanboy lol)

I think firehed did the conversion backwards...

I'd say get a 9800PRO if you can afford it, or a 9600XT if you can't.

 Perhaps you could look to 2 9600Pro's? They're good mid-range cards at stock and have acres of potential o/c'ing headroom in them, they should surpass 9600XT speed. Otherwise 9800Pro is the card, FX5900XT if you really must go with nVidia, that's best o/c'ed though!

I would go for the 6800GT, its very good performance for the price its at. But if u want top performance i would go for the x800pro as you can mod them to the x800xt :)
