Windows Help with CS:S!!

    Since steam FORCED me to spend $59.99 to buy the silver package I've been having serious loss/choke in CS:S. When I type net_graph3 in the console and I get into a firefight my loss/choke goes up to around 50/50 and I almost always die. I've been asking around the counterstrike community and it seems like everyone tells me the same thing, "Adjust your rate setting". I have tried every rate setting possible "rate 3500" "rate 20000" EVERYTHING! Could it be that I'm using a wireless B router at 11mbs and I didn't install the drivers because it wouldnt load?

    Wireless sucks for gaming and 99% of issues regarding lag in games when using wireless are due to the use of wireless.

    I use a wireless connection and i've never found any lag problems to do with wireless at all; all the ones i've ever found are from the server/ADSL problems...

    Get off the wireless. It's ungood for gaming. Yes, I said ungood :thumb:

    yes, wireless is a definate no no for gaming.

    my m8s had all kinds of trouble with hosting an internet game with 2 people on the network, wireless just couldnt cope
