My friend needs some help on some math thing.

After diving 30 meters, a submarine leveled off at a depth of 305 meters. What was the depth before the last dive?

It has to be answered in an algebra sentace... any ideas?

If you need to use Elements then Mercury can be used instead of water for liquid state.
