Hi i'm looking for some help overclocking my 5850 i've been useing msi afterburner and i've unlocked the core and voltage in the config file but i've hit a brick wall I've read that you can flash the bios but it looks like mine isn't a reference board which means i can't flash it with a normal bios. I managed to get it 865/1150 but anything over that i just get a black screen i've checked my temps and stuff and they seam fine and it just feels like the card will go more. There is alot of people out there getting there cards to 900 1000 core with the bios flash Any help or info on this would be cool thanks
Not all are good overclockers, just like cpu's unfortunately. I bought one to use in Crossfire with my other 5850, on the plus side, they do run very cool.
