Hi. My inglish is not the best, so I hope you´ll understand. I was hoping you could help me with this problem. I´ve just finished a 4-player arcade build and ooops, there´s a problem... the emulators doesn´t recognize the controllers. Everything works fine as long as all 4 controllers are connected. If I disconnect 3 of them and restart the emulator(1-player), there´s no recognition and the input keying doesn´t seem to work. If I exit the emulator, connect all 4 of the controllers and restart the emulator, the keying´s there, and it works perfect again. Why is this? And can you fix it?
inglish -> English I think your problem is the emulator itself, not your computer. You should seek help from the emulator website. To know for sure if it's the emulator OR your computer, see what Windows recognize. Have a look at the Device Manager panel. Look if your 3 controllers are recognized in Windows... if they are.. then the emulator is at fault. If Windows doesn't detect them then it's a hardware problem. Check for that, and let us know. Also, please tell us your FULL system specifications, and what emulator you are using.. maybe someone here knows something about it, and might help you better than me.
English, sorry =) Yeah. I know. XP recognize the usb devices, there´s no problem there. It´s probably a emutator problem(I´m using MAME) Example: With two controllers connected I open MAME, customize the inputs and load a game. Works just fine. I then exit MAME, disconnect controller nr 2, open the emulator again and load a game. The controller (nr 1)does not work. Any ideas ? ? ?
