    I'm assuming you're on A64 or P4. Unless you are using one of the much newer Intel motherboards, inserting two different sized modules means that you will lose dual-channel mode, which has a significant effect on memory bandwidth. However, the real-world impact isn't as huge as the figures would have you believe - it is still preferable to have it on, though.

    EDITED: lol, the tracer memory is one 1gb stick & 512mb is one stick so it should run fine, theres no differance 'sept the leds :thumb:


    (Also he's running an A64 3700
