Hi, i need help to make a sort of latch circuit. i've had a reply for something simalr but i'm confused.

Ok, i need something with a 12v supply that when a locking push switch is on the "on" postition the motor will go one way and stop when a push to make switch falls to the "on" postition. Then when the latching switch is pushed again the motor will run backwards, like the voltage reverses, until another push to make switch falls into the "on" position. sorry i can't use push to break. then when it is pushed etc.......

I'm a bit of a beginner so could you please tell me exactly what i have to do and what i need to get and circuit diagrams. i want to make it on stripboard so if anyones got any "break" diagrams.

One more thing i got my self a nice new 25w antec soldering iron last week but i can't get it to solder. :miffed: It heats up but the solder won't stick to it and the ends gone all brown and crispy, it wont clean off! should i fikle it iof buy a new tip?

    Thanks

    Dan

Never file Antex bits, they're plated. If you tin it with flux-cored solder, all you need do is wipe the hot tip on a damp sponge just before soldering. See the Useful Links for the EPE Guide to Soldering, or even read the Antex instructions.
