News Hercules Radeon 9800 Pro vs. Sapphire Radeon 9700 at PirateSoftware

The PSo crew take time out from doing Johnny Depp impresions and pit a Radeon 9800 Pro from Hercules against a Radeon 9700 from Sapphire:

"The 9700 still sells under the Hercules name for around £225, the 9800 Pro for around £300. For an extra £75 we get better framerates and a card that really does perform very well.

The 9800 Pro is a solid performer and a very good status symbol to boot too. Would I buy one? Well no, I'm a journalist with very little money, but the question needs to be asked: would I get one over the 9700? Of course! I'd be stupid not to!"
