Well i finally have decided on a setup of blocks and a rad but i need to know about a pump and what tubing to get. It'll have to be 1/2" but there are so many choices i dont know what is best. Enlighten me.

I really would favour the TDX waterblock over the MAZE 4 CPU block (or better still, have a Swiftech Storm).

But anyway, pump-wise, go with a DangerDen Laing D5 pump, and if you can afford it, always go for Tygon tubing. Make sure it is the thick walled (i.e. 3mm wall thickness) kind.

    I wholeheartedly second this advice.
I've tried many other kinds of tubing and nothing else compares.
Using the Tygon 3603 will allow you to make the tightest radius turns possible without kinking and really ease your tube routing decisions.

The stuff is worth every penny you will pay.

it's sold per foot which equals to roughly 0,3m... I can get pvc tubes for about 1.80€/m and silicon tubing for about 5€/m... I'm not sure about the $ and € rates but last I remember it was about the same amount (note theese tubes that I used as example prices aren't the cheapest versions over here)... speaking of which, what material is tygon made of? since as far as I know tygon is only a trademark

Never said it was; it is simply more expensive than other options. I don't think it is too expensive, personally; I think it is good value for money. But other modders on a tighter budget tend to disagree and go for Clearflex. If you find Tygon quite affordable, then all the more reason to go for it!

Probably a non-PVC polymer. Understandably, St. Gobain like to keep the exact recipe under their hat. It is favoured in many applications however because it is flexible (and stays that way, instead of becoming brittle over time), is quite inert, impermeable, UV-resistant and tough.

that would be obvious... i came across some tube which is made of polyurethane or shorter name: PUR . I wonder how good that stuff is... at least aqua computer uses it in their plug&cool systems

As for a pump I would recommend the AquaExtreme 50Z-DC12 pump. I have owned it for 2 1/2 years and i have never had a problem. Its very quite, and its 12v dc so no ac power cable needed, just plug it in to ur power supply. And it has one of the highest head's.

To save a fiew bucks I would go for the dangerden heatercore and shroud setup. It should cost you about 1/2 the price of that rad. And probly perform just as good if not better.
