Late to this one bud, sorry.

    Where do I start?

The EK Vulture, you got one and didn't say (though I had missed this thread altogether somehow).

If you'd mentioned it, would have drove over and fondled all the hardware to my hearts content, did I just say that? :hehe:

Can't wait to see this one! I'll head over to your other logs, not had a look at them in a while.

    Thanks.

Did I say, the hardware looks good! :eeek:

On the be quiet! PSU's, the PowerZone ones are lovely, had a 1000w unit, now got a 1200w unit. Lovin' em but then again I love me Corsairs and Seasonics too. :sigh:

Noob? seems excited to be here..... :D

Want to see where those 290's ended up?

The slim EK 290 blocks, very nice indeed, I will have to use them more often I think.

A fully parallel loop this time...because,you know....I can....

I will mention those EK AF fittings,If you are in the market for a matt finished, simple and clean looking fitting then these are for you.

The tray is finished in a dark gunmetal,a nice counterpoint to the frame panel inside which is a red marble effect (pics up later)......

Looking even better than before :thumb:

I have lost the will, enjoyment and I suppose the effort of upkeep for watercooling- I had a lovely dual loop GTX780ti SLI rig with dual D5 pumps and all that shizzle but was finding justifying keeping it- compared to my new mini itx with GTX980 which has much smaller footprint, no upkeep or concerns about leaks or anything and is both faster and quieter than the watercooled beast, or "that bloody monstrosity" as the good lady wife called it, too much to go on. That and a massive reduction in space that I have now for hardware in my office refurb meant it had to go.

Also, when I look at the wonderful builds on here, it kind of made my efforts look a bit lame and half arsed so as I am a bit of a pedant and wont accept nothing less than perfection, it had to go
    :duh::sigh:

Who knows, I might do a 360 and change later again :thumb:

Great looking build so far and beautiful photography! If I may ask, what sort of arm are you using on the monitor?

The fans have been finished, brass inside with blades the colour of clotted blood, a red/black mix.......

The EK Vardars come apart so easily,so very, very handy!!!
If EK ever sell the bearing sets then these fans will live as long as the electronics allow, easily swappable sealed bearings inside.

Hopefully I have not unbalanced them.....

I like how you've made it into a mATX case. It's too big for ITX for my taste. Will follow this with interrest :)

So,the loop layout is done, just need to bolt everything in place.

A fully parallel loop, nice clean and efficient runs should keep this tidy inside. The tubing and res need to be airbrushed in a candy brass/gold colour along with the pump cover which will be a deep red like the tray.
I need to get a handful of E22 Ultraclear in the post Monday.......:wheee:
    Then its sleeve time.......

I hate sleeving but it needs to be done!

Still need to do the back panel paint work but I really need to give them another few coats of base first.....which I ran out of......

Excellent colour choice and paint work, but I would suggest you stick with copper accents on the fans, and copper tubing, not brass or gold (to match the copper in the blocks). I'd use deep red and black sleeping for the wires.

Pump housing needs some love. Let me know if you want me to abuse some copper pipe on the lathe for you.
