I have just seen the first episodes that are out... wow... totally brilliant.

From the awesome concept (haven't you always wanted to be able to time travel, be invincible, fly, predict the future?) to the brilliant darkness of it all.

can't wait for the next one.. although i'm gonna have to get new some new hdd's mine are a bit stuffed

    She managed to
rip a man in two and tear the door off a safe box. I think that she will eventually learn to control it - it'd would be quite a significant power if it could be used at will
    .

Also, Hiro is the best :D

I love where the series is going.
I will be buying the DVDs when they come out in a nice boxed set.

Anybody care to speculate whether this is going to be a one off show or continue next season?

kring has the next 7 years of the shows story planned out. Unlike lost though, its not going to be one long story, but similar to a comic book, several stories with intertwining storylines and one end goal.

also... i'm starting to think that there is going to be a good and evil situation emerging. Some of these heroes that are emerging are not so hero-like. Posibly a big fight between 2 sides and then eventually working together to rid the world of a bigger evil.

The "9th Wonders" comic from the show is online at http://www.nbc.com/Heroes/novels
in both interactive flash & printable pdf versions. A new issue for each episode!

I'd say that either he or the Hatian is a a sort of anti-powers guy.
That is, that his power is canceling out other's powers.

    Maybe?

I'll have to get this on DVD when it comes out.

That's how I read it. The Haitian guy seems to be a "Jammer".

    Good News/Bad News

Bad: It looks like the DVD won't be out until next September! :waah:

Good #1: Guest star announcements from NBC - Christopher Eccleston to play "Claude" (a British invisible man), and George Takei to play Hiro's dad.

Good #2: Long DVD lead time due to season 1 having been extended to 22 episodes!
