Hey guys, just thought I'd introduce myself. I've been reading bit-tech for a while now, but I just decided to check out the forums. I must say, I'm impressed with all the work on here and I look forward to being a part of the community.

    Beware the Eyebrow Powers™!

Also, the dancing blue thing that you may see can be hypnotizing if you look at it too long.

Have fun while you're here and try to maintain your sanity!

So I've noticed. Thanks for the welcome. I'm a newb (note: not noob, newb) to modding, but I'm trying to learn what I can. I'm working on planning a case of my own, but designs keep changing and I get new ideas and get off track. Oh well, when I actually get started, you can bet it'll be on here.

i think one is derogatory, one is more affectionate.
but you can't apply that term to yourself! we'll be the judges of this matter!

"n00b" is offensive; it's meant to be applied to one who is not nessecarily new at a game, but bad at it, and they fail to accept that fact as true. They are rude, not willing to listen, and just plain nasty to play games with.

"newb" is simply a label of a new player; someone who is new at a game and therefore not as skilled at it. Newbs are good people, and will usually graciously accept help, as to improve their standing at the game.

    Ctrl-alt-del's more amusing definition.

    Also, welcome to the forums.

damn :jawdrop: the man himself! I wanna ask: Are you honored that so many people use your avy, sorta like a tribute? And why are you so popular? I've asked this before but all i got was answers along the lines of: "...that's the way it is around here..."
