    Hi all,

Just want to share a mod I've started a few ago. Hope you enjoy the buildlog and pics :D. All the lasercutting is done by Graveco.

I was inspired by many mods, watercooling and the TJ11. My main goal is to build a silent gaming pc. Hopefully my english isn't too bad :).

The aluminium tubes that will be the frame/backbone of this build. It's 15x15mm with a thickness of 1,5mm.

    That fits perfectly :)

A few of these tubes stacked together. It's time to drill some holes
    [IMG]

A part of the frame has been drilled and fitted with UNC-32 screws (common pc screws)

    Close-up of the connections
    [IMG]

The cube is now finished. More tubes will be added later to increase stability. The dimensions are 51x49x25cm
    [IMG]

I will be using this RX240 of XSPC as my main radiator
    [IMG]

To hold the radiator in place (at the bottom of the pc) I decided to lasercut a small piece of acrylic to mount the rad onto.

Finished lasercutting and mounted some rubber isolation on it
    [IMG]

    Add fans to the radiator
    [IMG]

This is what it could look like. Later you will see the position is slightly different
    [IMG]

I've finished cutting a piece of UV reactive blue acrylic that will be used as a bottomplate. Only the polished edge will be visible. UV leds will light it up.

At this point my white acrylic sheets for the side panels haven't arrived yet, so I took a picture with frosted acrylic.. and it looked awesome :)

A complete shot with the frame, radioator and bottom. Not bad!

Now with white acrylic and a dead mobo to test it. Note the large tube :)

That large tube is my custom reservoir. The top can be removed if I ever need to
    [IMG]

I've also added 2 aluminium tubes on the bottom to fit the radiator. The one with no radiator on will be removed later on due to the fact that 1 radiator is enough.

The small pieces of black acrylic are used to secure some aluminium tubes, and the cog shaped piece of used for the reservoir.
The main goal of this casemod is a quite PC, and you don't want water splashing into the reservoir. With this piece of acrylic the water is forced along the side of the res, so the water doesn't splash. Simple but very effective :D. So far it's doing a great job.

    Water? No problem!

At this point a small 22cm aluminium tube has been fitted in the frame. This will be used for the false top, because my motherboard has it's connections on the top.

Meanwhile some more acrylic has been cut (mid-plate and backplate). This pictures still has the dead motherboard in it.

Some panels that are cut from acrylic to create a HDD bay. It will be placed at the bottom of the pc. Simple but effective
    [IMG]

Also created the front panel and cut some letters out. Later pics will reveal the entire front (muc more exciting than this :p).

Now, I've lasercutted the top-plate with IO stuff and all. No more problems like 'where the heck is my IO shield x_X'

Hower this was a problem.. I had no idea how to secure the graphics card, but an easy solution with some aluminium tubes solved that problem. To remove my videocard I simply has to remove 2 screws.

Not a beauty but it does what it is suppose to do !

Here are some pics of the inside. Not bad I guess :)

To light up my reservoir I have etched a circuit board and placed 2 tyopes of LEDs onto it : white and blue. I can switch between colours if I like.

Ductape to prevent short circuits with the D5 pump
    [IMG]

That's it for now, I have to find the other pics on my digital camera. Hope you enjoyed this :D

    Cheers, Lemon

A shot of the case without a sidepanel
    [IMG]

And now with the side panel. Note that is isn't screwed to the case yet, and that's why it looks like it doesn't fit. Still alot of work to do on the inside
    [IMG]

    Some sleeving
    [IMG]

The basement with all the hardware for watercooling, power and data
    [IMG]

Im going to cut 2x 80mm fan holes in this panel so that I can get a decent airflow inside the case. There will also be 2x 80mm slim fans mounted at the back of the case. The system now runs too hot without proper airflow.

    And ofcourse the reservoir.

Today I have done some cable management and switched the fan directions of the psu and radiator. The system now runs alot cooler than before, which means the noise can be even lower :)
