A/V High definition cable TV to DVD

    I want to be able to record football games that i watch on TV. I have High Definition so I want HD dvd recordings also. How is this done?

    I'm assuming you mean record it to your computer and not a DVR? It depends on your provider, but CableCard is the standard as far as I know. This link gives a pretty good idea of how it's done; just make sure that your provider sets programs to "Copy Freely", 0X00) as per the article.

    I would prefer to just grab it right from the TV. It is just the big ten college football games. The vizio whispers to me "record meeeee"
