Here's one for all you fellow oldies out there, Dee Dee Jackson with Automatic Lover or you could have Tubeway Army with Are Friends Electric.

    Necro thread resurrection!

After heaps of listening and reading lyrics I've almost finalised my list now. There are a *tonne* of songs out there that mention electricity, but are break-up songs, about dying, cheating, getting blow jobs from groupies (I'm looking at you AC/DC) so it was tough to find positive songs. Thanks for all the suggestions so far. Here's what I came up with:

    1 MGMT - Electric Feel

    2.Borns: Electric love

    3. Fortunes - Energy

    4. Eves the Behaviour - Electrical

    5. Anathema - Lightning Song

    6. Major Lazer - Powerful

    7. NERO - Electric Intercourse (Cover of a Prince song)

    8. Lady Gaga - Electric Chapel

    9. Polecats - Make a circuit with me

    10. Electric Six - Danger! High Voltage

    11. Phil Oakey - Together in Electric Dreams

There are a couple in there that are just scraping in. Does anyone have positive songs that I've missed?

EDIT: Aparently the forum doesn't like it if you post a whole stack of videos for some reason.

I missed this thread the first time around. Try The Jimi Hendrix Experience: Have You Ever Been (To Electric Ladyland)
