It's not very wise to issue empty threats, besides, using nukes would leave nothing left to defend.

Trump, well he could be a Bonaparte or a Mussolini, or perhaps a mix of both.

    Edit.

True, she didn't cause brexit, but the most pervasive surveillance law ever passed in any civilized nation is her baby.

    Indirectly she did...

What did most Brexiters want? tighter immigration controls... Who is in charge of immigration and border control? The Home Office. Who was in charge of the Home Office? Theresa May.

She is also ultimately responsible for HM Govt's piss-poor handing of Brexit thus far. The Buck stops with her.

And in addition to the IP act Anfield mentions, removing the UK from the European Convention on Human Rights is her other baby... and one she intends to deliver though Brexit.

An argument could be made that she contributed greatly to it, she was home secretary for 6 years during which time she never invoked any control over EU migration despite those controls being available to her.

At any time she could have deported migrants that weren't studying, had assets to support themselves, or found work within 3 months, but AFAIK not a single of our home secretaries have ever imposed those rules.

EDIT: One advantage of Trump being sworn in is that people are now holding him to account, the White House now has to respond to a petition asking for Trump to release his tax returns.

Trump's all about the ratings... Trump also has to be the biggest/best... anything that disagrees is 'fake news'...

Some of the pictures were taken early on before people had gathered to see the inauguration, giving the impression that there were fewer people present than what actually was the case, I'm also certain that people were deterred by rain and threats of rioter violence. But clearly Obamas crowd would have been bigger because of the historical significance there's no way around that I don't think.

Besides, why waste energy on this stuff to begin with. It's better to listen to what the old washed out bag Madonna had to say. :D

Sorry, but a tally of public transport transactions shows that the turnout was much lower. And I really doubt that rain and threats of violence would keep all those fervent Trump supporters away. Fact is, there were just much fewer people.

Protest demonstrations are drawing a crowd though. :p

Anyway, shouldn't Trump stop campaigning and start governing? Inauguration turnout doesn't matter. What matters is that he is in the driving seat now, and he needs to STFU and start doing his ****ing job.
