    It's the American way.

Anyway, it's what people voted for, isn't it?

Apparently rape and domestic violence (and women's monthlies) are pre existing conditions that can either mean the price increase or insurance is refused! Go Team!

“Nobody dies because they don’t have access to health care.” - GOP Congressman Raul Labrador said that during a townhall, a few days ago. Needless to say, the crowd booed him.

It kind of works as a strategy, create so many issues that people don't know which one to complain about:grr:

Just another issue that deserves some attention:

    First some context:
The Trump order to review ( and potentially shrink or eliminate )  nearly 30 national monuments which includes the 1.35 million acre Bears Ears National Monument in southeastern Utah.

Now on to the wrong things spewed forth from an orifice one would not traditionally associate with the head region of a Senator:

Orrin Hatch (Republican Senator in Utah):

    https://nativenewsonline.net/currents/senator-orin-hatch-indians-just-take-word/

Except it is rather strange he would say that, considering who wanted it to be a protected area in the first place...

And they should just take his word for it that the evil Obama (at least that seems to be what he is implying since it was Obama who approved the idea) was tricking them into asking for it decades before he was born because they just don't understand:wallbash::wallbash::wallbash:

This is a total aside, but I tend to watch youtube videos while I'm eating, because I'm extremely classy. One of my go to channels is History Buffs, where the hosts delves in to inaccuracies shown in historical movies. He truly outdid himself a few months ago with his Dances with Wolves video, in showing just how cruelly native americans have been treated, weaving a shameful thread from past to present day. Don't be put off by the duration, it's well worth a watch.

well of course - it was GENOCIDE but since that implies the whites were evil people , that small detail of history is swept aside

Calling it now... Kushner as new FBI Director.

The guy investigating Trump was fired by Trump on the recommendation of the guy who had to recuse himself from the investigation [Sessions].

Comey apparently found out he'd been fired when it flashed up behind him on rolling news coverage as he was addressing staff at the LA field office. Alsp seen reports that other higher-ups at the FBI didn't know Comey had been fired.

Pretty much, especially as the reason they've given for firing Comey is basically 'But Hillary's emails!'.

An interesting thing about Comey getting fired is that this can be seen as a preemptive move. If we draw parallels to Nixon it's surprisingly similar to the firing of the special prosecutor.

That said, Congressional movement will be nil on this subject and that will only add to the frustration. On the other hand, this is one of those moves where its so conspicuous that it says much more especially in tandem with the Sally Yates thing.

For months I didn't want to believe that a conspiracy was actually happening, but boy are these people willing to make it a reality.
