    I'd say he was completely wrong about the Middle East because he chose to single out Iran as the bad guy while completely ignoring Saudi Arabia and Turkey.

    As for the rest, it sounds like a speech written for a far greater leader than Trump is.

    I think it was directed at Iran because of Nukes..

    (I know Turkey has US Nukes, but they can only be activated by codes sent from the US, and I know Saudi kept trying to get them from Pakistan / A Q Khan etc)

    I think it was guff, he is full of contradictions if you read what he said.

    Oh and a mulit millionaire dislikes anything that has the word 'social' in it, that's hardly a surprise.

    I couldn't help thinking either myself or Trump misunderstand what the UN is or should be, he talked about each nation state putting their own, and their peoples, self interests first but personally i think nation states and people should be putting the interest of the whole world first.

    When nation states have put their own interests above those of others it's not turned out very well in the past.

    George Papadopoulous was the one who plead guilty.

    It is former foreign policy adviser George Papadopoulos that pled guilty to making false statement to FBI, and did so quite a while ago. It has only just be made public and is potentially more important than the Manafort development.
