When a guy hasn't worked out how to close an umbrella, can't remember the name of a town he just visited, and makes up imaginary conversations in his head maybe it's a little cruel to use things like facts to mock him. ;)

Fox news: from far right wing tripe to literal state TV.
Americans happily mock North Korean news anchors glorifying their great leader, but on Fox (and 193 Sinclair-owned local news channels) it's pretty much the same thing 24/7.
    What a dumpster fire.

That level of ignorance is off the charts, even by Trump "standards"...

Speaker Paul Ryan retires: his legacy is debt and disappointment.

Trump just declared a national emergency to bypass the Congress, just so he can use the funds of the Department of Defense to build his wall.
Basically "F**k you, Constitution, I don't need you!".

He's got more lives than a cat. How come he hasn't been impeached yet???

Republicans are worried. They're worried a future Democrat could use this tactic in relation to gun or climate laws.

    That'd make me chuckle.

Please don't impeach Trump. You know what happens when (if) that happens? Evangelical catholic nut takes over. It's better that he declares national emergency and it drags on through the courts than to have Pence in charge.

I want Trump to fail to get reelected for a second term and be immediately arrested.

The concept of the shaved orangutan (With half the brainpower of a goldfish) in a prison is too funny to pass up.

I can't remember which US commentator it was but they suggested that one possibility is that if he ever felt the whiff of an arrest he'd resign, make Pence President and then Pence's first order would be to pardon him.

    Sounds scarily plausible.

IMO Pence would need to be removed as well... but nothing would please me more to see one or both of them hauled off in disgrace...

There is a precedent, but you already know that.

Indeed. I think it may even be technically possible for him to temporarily step down on health grounds or whatever, have Pence stand in and pardon him, then resume his role.

Then again there may be no collusion, he's as fit as an ox, he's done nothing wrong and walls work... :eyebrow:

Oh aye, it's not a new thing is it.

I'm just wondering at what point President for life, or more than two terms gets mentioned...
